Jeanie Marie Buss (born Jeanie Marie Buss) is a famous American woman in business. She is the current president as well as the sole owner of the Los Angeles Lakers National Basketball Association. Buss is a California born Buss has been raised by an upper class family. Jerry Buss' father was an investor in real estate and was later a part owner of the Lakers along with various other sports organizations. In the event that her parents divorced in 1972 she felt that they had abandoned her. At the age of 19, she began working for the family's business. The team was later renamed an organization called the Los Angeles Blades professional roller hockey team. Before she became vice president of the Lakers in 2013, she was president of the Great Western Forum. Buss inherited the Lakers through her father's estate in 2013. Her five siblings inherited it through a family trust. She was named president of Los Angeles Lakers. Buss is also the co-owner of Women of Wrestling, a professional promotion of wrestling with its headquarter within Los Angeles.
