Winona-Ryder

Winona Laura Horowitz, professionally referred to as Winona Ryder was born in Winona Minnesota. The parents of her daughter named her the city she grew up in after her birthplace. Michel Horowitz was her father and Cynthia Palmer, his mother, were both authors as well as editors. Ryder's father and mother have both been Jewish. Ryder believes herself to be Jewish. Her half-siblings are younger, Jubal and Sunyata. At the age of seven, Ryder was only seven her family relocated into Mendocino County California. They didn't have electricity. Ryder was a voracious read because they had television. Ryder was 12 when she took up a place at the American Conservatory Theatre for acting classes in 1983. Lucas The film from 1986 that she was in, was her debut major role. Ryder was 15 at the time she was cast. Ryder experienced bullying at high school. Her professional acting, she believed that it would aid her. However, the plan didn't pan out. However, she pushed on with her dream. In 1988 she had her biggest break with Tim Burton's Beetlejuice. Ryder was able to continue playing roles that were successful in several movies. In 1993, she was nominated twice for Academy Awards. One of them for her role as a character in The Age of Innocence.
